Our Founder - Karen Raborn

Karen Raborn is the spirit behind the school. She was born and raised in Slowezi, Zambia and knows intimately the needs of the children in the area. She founded the school in 2013 in response to the many children in the area who would otherwise not have an opportunity for an education. Although Karen lives in St. Louis, she is deeply involved in the operation of the school. She communicates with the school administrators several times per week and travels annually to the school for several weeks.
